Warm Water walking class

WWW:  THE NEW WAY TO SEARCH
FOR PAIN RELIEF!

Targeted towards those with chronic lower back pain, or knee or hip replacements, this rehabilitative water walking program will:
  • Relax: The warm water lets your muscles relax while you work.  Our pool is 90 degrees while most others are 78 to 82 degrees, so simply immersing yourself to chest height can help begin the healing process.
  •  Align: learn how to establish proper alignment and practice these new mechanics with ease, as you bear only 25% of your weight in chest deep water.
  •  Activate: learn how to turn on unused muscles and strengthen chronically overstretched muscles to re-establish muscle balance, correcting the most common cause of back pain.
  • Strengthen: using the resistance of the warm water and increasing rehabilitation progressions, strengthen back, abdominal, hip and gluteal muscles.
Classes are at DACA Swim Center Friday at 10am.
All classes are on a drop-in basis.  Come when you can, pay $25 one time or purchase a Class Card for $100 or $200  for a $20 per class rate.
